Julia Trybala is an artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Julia makes drawings and paintings of the female nude, drawing inspiration from personal experience and notions of intimacy.
This series of prints titled 'Thousand Nudes' features a bratty trio sitting side by side, squished and glaring at one another. Originally drawn in pastel, the female forms embody a duality of coarse mark making and a bold application of colour.
